You don't have to push the boat out!

May 2, 2023

You don't have to push the boat out as your narrowboat holiday really doesn't have to cost the earth.

We realise that hiring a narrow boat can seem quite costly when compared to other types of accommodation, but your canal holiday does not have to break the bank.

Your boat will be your accommodation, your means of travel and your entertainment, so further spending will be at your discretion. Of course you can also share the boat with family or friends which could cut the cost in half!

Whilst there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a short walk from the canal the boat is fully equipped with everything you need to cook on board. If you want to make life a little easier then there are also some great butchers and local shops that sell very reasonably priced pre-prepared meals, lots of them using local produce.

Your entertainment will be free too: choose from towpath walks, team work at the locks, exploring the local villages and towns, discovering the historical features of the canal, hill or mountain walks and of course enjoying the ever changing scenery as you make your way through the Brecon Beacons National Park.

If you prefer an even more relaxing holiday then bring your books, crochet, knitting, art supplies or fishing gear and spend time on your favourite hobby whilst moored in a quiet spot enjoying the mountain views.

Make your narrow boat holiday your own unique experience and remember at 2 miles an hour it really is the quickest way to slow down.

Why not choose your boat now.
