A great 10 days afloat

Decided to take our 1st Canal Boat holiday to celebrate my 80th birthday and picked a boat from Road House Narrowboats which was a great decision. Gilwern Lady was prepared to a very high standard. being clean and tidy. She has a great configuration for two persons with everything on board required for total enjoyment. Being smaller than a lot of the boats on the canal she is very easy to handle and always admired by the tow path spectators. Locks & the Tunnel were easier as well. This is a small family run business and every consideration is given to make it a great experience. The initial briefing was very detailed which helped to put ones mind at rest. We will certainly use Roadhouse Narrowboats if we are able to manage another canal holiday. Thank you Nigel & Sally for a great 10 days afloat.
